Making a Drift Trike


One of the most attractive creations of our collection is the one with the number 0119 and it is called make it extreme drift trike. Drift trike is a vehicle especially made for drifting and providing to the driver an unbelievable experience as well as lots of fun. 

Initially, we cut two PVC tubes which are placed at the external perimeter of the two wheels at the back of our trike and their role is to slide on the road so that the vehicle will be able to drift easily without needing to exert great power from the engine. However, we put a machine of 200cc which is very strong for such a vehicle. Our vehicle has 5 gears, from which the one is the reverse. 

Using the tubes and our imagination, we managed to make our creation’s framework. The frontal wheel that we placed is quite big compared to the ones at the back and we took it from a motorbike. 

Finally, we painted our vehicle in orange colour as all the other vehicles by the make it extreme team. The experience you get driving it is amazing as it gives you a rush of adrenaline and the sense of happiness driving it is unforgettable. Undoubtedly, this is one of our favourite creations and each part of it has been made with a great detail.

Making a Spot welding machine


The Make it Extreme creation with the number 0118 is a very powerful Spot Welding machine. It is a very useful tool for welding iron plates and various other structures. This welding is achieved by the heat caused at particular spots due to the resistance of the electricity. It is relatively an expensive machine, so we decided to make it by ourselves according to our needs.

After taking two transformers from old microwave ovens, we removed the secondary coils and we replaced them with ones that we made to manage to exit with 1,5volt and 500A. Therefore, we created two coils in a row to achieve this outcome of approximately 1,5 1000A. Thus, we made a machine which is able to weld 4mm metals thick with great ease.

Afterwards, we connected the two exits from the transformers on two copper calipers. These calipers exert pressure on the pieces of metal by using our hands and pushing at the point where the metals are going to be weld and simultaneously they are transfering the electrical load. To set the time, when the coils transfer the electrical load, we placed a timer delay switch from 0-10s. In this way, we have the opportunity to choose the thickness that we prefer to weld.

To conclude, we managed to create a very functional machine with amazing capabilities as it can weld both thick and thin pieces, easily. We are very pleased and  satisfied with our creation.

Making a mini chainsaw



This time we managed to make a mini chain saw which is used for pruning and cutting wood that are not relatively wide. The advantage of this tool compared to a pruner is that it can cut quite thick branches.

Starting with, we took an old motor  from an electric window of an old car. Then, we placed the gear taken from an old tree cutting machine on the motor. The gear moves the chain.

Afterwards, taking a metallic plate, we formed the basis on which all the parts were connected. Then, we connected the motor and the gear with this metallic plate, the metallic plate where the chain is moved and finally the protectors and the switch to function our structure. The stretching of the chain is regulated.

Our structure was painted in green and black colour as we always do with all of our make it extreme tools and machines. Our tool looks beautiful and it looks like it came out from the movie "Zombie apocalypse".

Our structure works quite well but we believe that a chain with smaller teeth and a faster motor would reach a better outcome.

Making a portable air compressor



A portable air compressor is our new creation, numbered 0116. It is a structure that can have multiple uses in brief tasks that air needs to be provided. The benefit of this structure is that it does not need electricity provision as it works with a battery thus it makes it easily to be used and more functional. 

Initially, we used a 12v compressor to connect it on two 5litred- containers taken by old fire extinguishers. After we had connected the two containers the one with the other and with the air compressor, we put a pressure switch that switches off the compressor when it reaches 120psi pressure. Also, for our own safety, we put a relief valve 8-12 bar. Having supported by an air regulator, we are able to set the air pressure that exerts from the tanks according to the tool that we use the certain time. 

Finally, we placed a fast coupling before the point, where the air exits, on which we connect quickly and easily the tool that we need. Modifying the current valves existed on the old fire extinguishers, we found out a clever solution of the problem how the humidity can exit the tanks. 

To sum up, to try our structure, we used an air stapler gun that worked amazingly well. Then, after we had regulated the pressure at the 3 bars, we tried our airbrush and we made the make it extreme logo on a wood having excellent results. The outcome and the functionality of this structure is amazing and we are very pleased with the result.

Making a gear selector



Besides of an interesting structure, the project 0115 reminds us our childhood dreams that we did not manage to fulfil. The making of a gear selector system by pressing buttons from a motorcycle steering wheel is an exciting and interesting procedure. 

First, we started creating it by taking 2 starter solenoid from 2 broken starter motors. Then, we removed all the pieces of the solenoid that were unnecessary for our structure and we used only the coils that after they are 12vdc power supplied, they become powerful electromagnets. Next, we placed these electromagnets in an aluminum rods that we made on the lathe having 25mm distance the one from the other. 

The axis passes through the coils and it is moved forward and backward according to which electromagnet is activated each time. When there is no electricity in the coils, the axis is in the middle and it can be moved both forward and backward. Later, we connected the axis of our structure to the gear shift of the motorcycle. The rest of the structure was stabilized on the framework that we made to present the video. 

Our system is connected with two buttons. The one button increases the gear while the other one decreases it. This structure is not only interesting but it is also very useful as it enables us to change gears without being close to the machine. It is even useful to disabled people who cannot adjust the speed easily of their wheelchair.
