More info on the project
In this particular construction, we have done not just something innovative but also we gave solutions to many problems that we have confronted for decades. We have designed and made a reusable spray, in which you can place liquids and suppressed air as well as release them on the surfaces needed in controllable doses by just pressing the spray’s nozzle. Our main problem, which led us to make this construction were the imperfections on various constructions that we make during their transfer or placing them somewhere. These imperfections need to be corrected with the best possible way so that they won’t be obvious to the naked eye. Therefore, every time we spotted a scratch on a construction, we could use the paintbrush to paint it, which was not the best way as we made it worse creating prints on the paint.
However, we could use the air spray gun but to do this we should transfer various tools like the air compressor, hoses and other things. The electric spray gun, though, is very expensive and it performs better in bigger surfaces. There was, also, another solution, to get a sample of the paint to a shop that makes disposable sprays but that was time consuming, high in cost and it would involve the risk that the colour would not be exactly the same making it obvious to the naked eye. Thus, creating your own spray by using the same paint that you used to paint your construction does not involve any extra cost, you can use the same spray several times and you have it in your home. In addition, you can use it whenever you need it, it is environmentally friendly as it avoids emitting poisonous gases and creating multiple other disposable sprays as well as it can be used for multiple reasons.
The suppressed air can get through the air compressor using a simple pump that can be transferred easily or through a vial that contains Co2 in a big pressure. We made our construction with an aluminum tube with 70mm diameter. At the lower part of the tube, we screwed the bottom of the spray, on which there is a screwed clock that indicates the pressure inside the spray, the socket where the suppressed air passes through a vial of CO2 and a throttle that air can be inserted through a compressor or a pump. On the upper part of the box, we placed an aluminum cap on which we placed a throttle taken from a common spray. This throttle opens when the user presses with his finger the nozzle of the spray down. Following this procedure, the liquid inside the container is released outside of it. To sum up, although it is a simple construction it is a very useful one as we believe it is necessary for everyone.
